check out mousesavers.com they have so much advice on thier site for traveling at all ages.
I've been to disney many times, cooler months are much easier and never any time near a school break so that its not packed. I also bought the book "the unoffical guide to disney" you can also get it at the library, it has so much info!

both of those sites above are great - but Disboards.com is the best! It is a posting board like this one but for disney - there are sections on families, transportation, resorts, dining, parks etc. The family section has a ton of postings with tips for families traveling with 18 month, 2 year olds. I find it is really helpful!

I feel its important to try to keep dd comfortable like she is at home. I use a service to rent a full crib and toys for dd.
She just does not sleep comforable in the pack and play that disney provides. Its so worth it to us to have her sleeping well on vacation!
