Yes, starting this fall St. Rose has an Edd program. It is so new that it isn't on their website yet. I emailed them and they sent me an application as well as the information. The total program cost was between $16,000 - $18,000. I think it is cheaper because, as I understand it, some of the courses are online.
I just called them for info. and they said they aren't accreditted to do doctoral programs, only Master's.  $16,000 really is cheap though.

It is CITE but the credits are through the college of st. rose (or so I thought?)

Ahhh, gotcha. I think that is about the certification program, which will get you certified, but it's not a doctoral program. It just says they offer
Masters Degree Programs, Graduate Level Coursework, and an Education Administration Certification Program, no mention of doctorate. It really doesn't matter, most teachers don't need a doctorate anyway unless you wanted to go into an administrative role.

Just wondering, as I may be looking to enter one.
Is anyone taking an admin. master's via stonybrook?
My husband will be starting the CITE program in October, and I am currently doing my doctorate at NYU in educational administration. My husband is doing it for the "what if" of administration in the future, whereas I know I would like to pursue administration which is why I am pursuing my doctorate whereas he is pursuing his certificates and possibly a second masters.
