We're not "snow people", so we're going to hide in the house. Chat Icon Maybe watch a movie or two.

Any plans for this snowy day?

Since we've been doing so well for the past 11 months remote, there are no snow days so I will be working, shoveling, and working.

Oh my goodness so productive im jealous!

My husband and I are both working (from home like every other day), my 7 year old is on school remotely which mean i have to monitor it, and my 4 year old is walking around with no attention at all LOL
Epic failure!!

Re: Any plans for this snowy day?

I do NOT like being cold. I'm always cold anyway. LOL
My boys are fine so they are out playing in the snow with neighbors. I love that they are now old enough where I don't have to supervise them outside and can wave at them from the window once in a while. LOL

I'm "working" but it's quiet. I'm guessing a lot of co-workers took a snow day so it's not so bad. I took my DD out in the snow and played and shoveled a bit. She's 5 and it was up to her hips! Chat Icon

I plan to take my DS and DD out again after DS naps.

Let's not go crazy didnt do much else lol. My kids did not have remote school today thank God. I decided yesterday if school was going remote I would put my foot down and not make them do it but luckily school agreed...

I'm fortunately( unfortunately) within walking distance. But we have about 15 inches of snow. So while it was a snow day for rest of company, not remote, just off, me and another co worker who lives nearby had to go in and stuff envelopes. You know, because that's very important. Chat Icon They wouldn't even close early. Sorry, bad day, I'm very salty!!!!

Unreal! I remember when my SIL worked at target they were making all the managers work a blizzard and got them hotel rooms across the street so they could walk to work

Wait, what?? Did I read that right?? Everyone else got a snow day, but because you're within walking distance (yeah, because it's so easy and SAFE! to walk under these weather conditions) you had to go in to do some BS task?! That's so unfair and callous toward your safety! I'm angry for you Chat Icon
