Am I the only one whose kid will only sleep in the PNP? (LONG!)

Here's the backstory:

In the "old" days, DD slept in the crib and DS slept in the swing.
We decided to do CIO with DS to get him to sleep in the crib. So dd's good sleep wouldn't be interrupted, we put DD in the PNP in our room. After a couple of weeks, DS was sleeping well, so we moved DD back in.
Now she won't sleep in there. We were breaking her of the swaddle at the time, and she was doing great with one arm out. Put in her the crib and she was hysterical. So we swaddled her again, and she slept ok, not great. Tonight I tried again with the one arm out - in the crib. Hysterics. Woke up DS who also started screaming unconrollably. We couldn't get either of them to stop. I moved DD back into the PNP with BOTH arms out of the swaddle, and she fell asleep instantly, and hasn't woken up since.

What is the deal?
Is it the PNP? Is it being in our room? Can she not sleep near DS?
I can't do CIO with both of them in the same room because the one crying will wake the other up.
I'm at a loss.

I don't know if I can be of any help, but dd slept in the PNP from December-last week! She wouldn't go into her crib at all! I took her out of her room because she was teething and waking up screaming so into the LR we went. I slept on the couch and she slept in the PNP. So many times I tried to move her into her room, but it was just too much to deal with.

But, we went away last week and I didn't take the PNP. She slept in a hotel crib and Guess What? Now she has been sleeping in her crib!

So, I guess there is hope!

Will DD sleep in the PNP in another room in the house?

Maybe then you can have your room back and Mady can have her PNP.
