IMO that money that they wanted should go STRAIGHT into the NYC schools...
THEIR TEACHERS are seriously underpaid as well as the over crowding in the classrooms etc
THANK YOU. If only Bloomberg understood the connection between smaller class size and achievement.
Could you imagine the Olympics here? It would have been insane.

I agree with both of you completely. I personally did not want the olympics to be here. It think it would be way too chaotic and a huge security risk.
I don't even know how they could have been considering this stadium given the terrible condition of many city schools, and the closing down of fire stations!

I might be one of the few but i rather the olympics be elsewhere, i couldnt think of a more perfect target for terrorist. think about it they will have years to plan the attack, know that thousands if not millions of people will be here for them, def something i would rather not have in ny.
