AHH DH BROKE HIS LEG! WHATA SUMMER THIS IS GONNA BE!
Of all things he was golfing. He went on a golf outing in Staten Island and after the first hole he stepped off a wood curb and just stepped the wrong way and BOOM broke his Leg/Ankle.
So they rushed him to a hospital on Staten Island. I got there and long story short.. we know a orthopetic surgeon affilated with North shore so after many phone calls he is home with me and tomorrow he sees the dr and friday he has a tentative surgery scheuled. They had to pop it back in to place it was dislocated and its in a cast now.
THIS IS GOING TO E TORTURE.. a 9 month old and guy with broken leg all summer....

OMG....10 years ago TODAY I broke my ankle. Almost three months in a cast and it was the hottest summer ever.
I feel for your DH.

My DH broke his leg in January on our way to a food tasting for the wedding!!!! I FEEL your pain!!! The first couple of weeks I was considerate and compassionate, but after 5wks of working 6 12hr shifts, coming home to a filthy house having to clean, play with the dog, cook dinner, clean up, draw him a bath, take my own shower and then go to bed just to do it again the next day I became a little bitter! I believe my exact words were " You're leg is broken not gone....suck it up butter cup and help me!!!!" If you need to talk/vent please fm me!!!!

I broke my left food drunk on night (those damn jello shots) and was in a cast for 9 weeks, by the end of week one I was out shopping because I couldnt stand looking at the walls anymore. But however we are talking about a man, so this is a massive thing. You may want to invest in a good bottle of wine and have some.

I remember when my DH broke his collar bone, it was a rough summer!
