Advice....DS waking up screaming in middle of the night

My DS is 2 1/2 years old, and has never had a problem sleeping. Form 3 months and on he would go to bed around 8:30 and wake up between 8:30 - 9 am.

The past month, he's been waking up almost every single night around 3 am screaming. We have to take him out of the crib, rock him in his rocker, and then he falls back asleep. Some nights, he's up 2 or 3 times doing this.

We don't know what's wrong.

He still takes an afternoon nap (about 2 hours).
Is he at the age where we should eliminate his nap?

Any other moms go through this? What did you do?

We've been dealing with this for a while too. But DH doesn't even bother crying anymore. He just climbs out of his crib and into our room. We're getting his big boy bed delivered on Wednesday, I'll let you know if that helps.

I'm glad DH is getting his big boy bed. My DH isn't ready for his yet.

Kathy does he has his 2 year molars yet? Could it be nightmares?
