Posted by dandj I'm sure they will be fine....I had the exact same surgery 7 years ago and I've been fine ever since! Thanks for letting me know. My grandma also had this surgery a couple years ago and is fine. But I can't help but be nervous.

Thanks! They said it's a 3-hr surgery and we heard from BIL and he said she was getting prepped till 1:30-ish so it should be over soon. Waiting for a call from DH.
