A sneak peek at our weekend kitchen installation! **New Pics on Page 3 (8/6/08)**
We had to do a lot more prepping then we originally thought we would, but we got so much done this weekend!
I have to say... DH, his Dad and Bro are so talented and did an amazing job so far on their first kitchen install. MIL, SIL and I helped too but the boys deserve most of the credit.
BEFORE
What it looked like on closing day
corner where we will add cabinets
PREP
Painted
Took out original cabinets
Cut wall in corner...
...to add wood beams so cabinets can be attached to them
spackling around wood
moved electrical
Hung plastic and sheets when we heard tile needed to be cut (ugh... more dust) to contain the dust in the kitchen
It worked... check out the dust that stuck to the plastic
DURING
Leveling everything!
Fiddling with the range
One wall of cabinets are up!
Range is in place
That's all for now... can't wait to post more DURINGS and AFTERS!!!!!!!

Thanks! Yes it's BM Nantucket Gray... the same color that we have in the LR and DR.

Yes, all you paint colors go well together. It's a nice flow in the house!

Oh and as you can see HD ordered us the wrong height for the fridge side panel (84" instead of 96"). So we have to bring that back tonight and wait for the new one to come in. 
I added pics to my album too.
