How much pasta for 15 people?
I am making baked ziti for 15 adults on Sunday, how many boxes should I buy? More than half of these adults are hearty eaters.
Also I am using jar pasta sauce because I really like it, if you used jar pasta sauce how many jars would be enough?

is this the mail meal or are you having things with it??? I just had a bday party for DD with 17 adults and some kids and made 3lbs of pasta and had PLENTY leftover. I also make other things with it.

Technically one pound (or one box) *should* feed 8 people. But that's assuming everyone only has 1 cup. I'd say probably 3 pounds.

This will be the main meal. I will have bread, garlic bead and a salad mix.

For 15 adults I would say 3 boxes of pasta and for jars of sauce i would say 4 if the jars are on the smaller side. Some people like a lot of sauce.

I always like to have extra. I'd make 4 boxes. Not sure about sauce.

I agree, I think a box feeds 4 adults if it's the main meal.

I made baked ziti for my DD's party. We had about 28 people and I made 4lbs pasta and we had almost 2 left over. But I also had hero, salad, and italian bread.
