We are so in love with our little girl... the love is really indescribable! Being a MOM is amazing and I don't know how I ever lived without her! We just can't stop staring at her. She's such a good baby too.
I could not have asked for a better labor and delivery. I progressed so quickly and was able to have the drug-free birth that I wanted!
I'll have to write out my birth story in detail sometime soon but after laboring at home for 3 hours, we got the hospital at 12pm and when they checked me at 12:30 I was already 6-7cm and the contractions were 2-3 mins apart. The car ride was tough! Being that much dilated already gave me so much motivation to go natural. By the time they moved me from triage to a private delivery room I was already feeling the urge to push so they checked me again at 2-ish and I was fully dilated with a little lip left! Too late for any drugs anyway, they hadn't even gotten the chance to ask me yet!!! I was nervous but excited (and had a million other emotions) that I was actually doing this drug-free. It was surreal actually. The dr. let me labor until the urge to push was more intense and I started pushing at 3pm (pushing is a whole other unreal experience) and had Sienna at 3:58!
The whole thing was so overwhelming but in a good way... I was honestly so proud of myself and still can't believe it. If you're thinking of going natural, you can do it! Contractions are unlike any pain you've ever felt, but you get through it. DH was amazing through it all so that really helped too.
She took to breastfeeding immediately after birth and it's been going great since then. It came very easy, i love it.
Thank you all so much for all your congrats and well wishes in the post that Laura (bluepixie) wrote!  I know I left you all hanging that day but everything happened so fast.
