No cramping or bleeding is a very good sign. With my ectopic, I had bleeding from the day after I got my BFP and cramping constantly.
Yes, I had a major jump in my betas. They were very slow to rise at first and the doctors were not optimistic at all...which of course made it that much harder because we come to rely on the doctor's opinions. But you just never know, and in our case, the doctors initial thoughts turned out wrong. I think, honestly, that happens more often than we actually realize. They try not to get our hopes up so they are very cautious and sometimes it's totally normal and nature is just taking it's time  I hope you get a nice big jump in your betas on Wednesday like I did!!

having symptoms is a good sign. With my ectopic, I had bleeding and virtually no symptoms. So the fact that you've been gagging from the toothpaste and whatnot is a good sign. Some people just have very slow to rise hcg levels and then they speed up real quick. Keep thinking positive

Good luck! The nurse at my Dr office recently told me that the numbers don't always follow the doubling rule.

Ugh, I'm so sorry that your appointment went that way. I agree, I would switch practices. But I'm glad to hear you saw a sac!
Do you know if they checked your tubes and ovaries as well? With a slow rising beta it's important they do that on the first sono.
