1st Christmas in the new home (updated with pics)
Well technically we moved in last year on Dec. 17th so there were no decorations or lights or tree so I feel like this is out first year and it is SO much fun to decorate!
I will post pics when its all done!

Us too We closed last January and decorating this christmas was so much fun...DH put the lights up on the house yesterday and I was like a child I was so excited  ...Can't wait to see pics

I'm going to have a short Christmas this year. We're moving in around the 15th...I guess next year will be the 1st full Christmas.

We actually moved into our new home yesterday!!! I'd love to get a tree and decorations, etc, but there are so many boxes and the place is so messy. 
Should I just wait til next year and do it "right"???

It is our first Christmas in our house too! We are having fun decorating...too bad half of our rooms aren't painted yet. I think it would look better.

Me too!!
I just bought a tree today and am taking it out of the box...eww..that sounds cheesy, but I didn't want to wait to get a real tree and have it not make it to Christmas.
I am such a cheeseball, that I started to cry when I took out the ornaments today.

Thanks everyone!
Lots of work this weekend but so much fun too.
I still need more decor for the bay window. Not sure what to get other than that Santa figure.
Marcie - we got them at Harrows but it was the last box in the Massapequa store.

I'm very excited because this is also our first Christmas in our new house. We started to Christmas decorate this past weekend and put our tree up. I am in the Christmas spirit now more than ever.
