I prefer parties on Saturdays... I like Sunday to just be "family" day.. but having it on Sunday isn't the end of the world.. just prefer Sat.

Our DDs is on a Sunday. I didn't think of it as a big deal. There was more availablily and flexibility with Sunday over Saturday. (we are having it at a restaurant)

I do mine always on Sats, and do prefer them on sat cause for us there's always travel involved either to the party or guests to us. Sundays are reserved for family time

For a 1st B-day I am doing it on a Sunday. It is not a major event like a wedding and I was afraid a lot of people I would want to come wouldnt be able to for a reason like that.
ETA: Plus, the halls I looked at only had Sundays available.

I wanted Saturday, but one of DHs friends kids birthday it around the same time and they were so sweet to declare to us that they claim every saturday that weekend FOREVER! So, we got Sunday, which I'm actually OK with cause that means I won't really have the hanger ons that always stay late when you just want to put DC to bed, clean up and relax.

I prefer Saturday, but either is fine. If I was having it somewhere it would totally depend on the availability.

DD's is on a Sunday. That way I have all day Saturday to prep, etc. since I work during the week.

We had Jacob's party on a Sunday...it seemed that more people were available on a Sunday.

Were doing a saturday, so I have the day on sunday to wind down.
Plus, this way people can come back to the house afterwards on Saturday night and not feel rushed b/c of work the next day.

I prefer Saturday too, but in our family Sundays are better, more people are off from work. On Saturdays MIL works, BIL works, occassionally DH works and I work.
