1st Birthday Party Advice and Rec. Needed

I am at the last minute (less than 2 weeks until Mia's party) considering getting a waitress for her party to help alleviate some of the stress on us. Am I too late? Can anyone recommend a service they have used that they have been happy with?

Also, in terms of photography, I of course want lots of pics of the party. Do I take them myself? Ask a family member to be in charge? How did you handle getting decent pics at DC's 1st birthday?

Tell her that She did my twins christening at Birchwood Glen if you decide to use her. My Aunt is friends with her Mom. They really work above and beyond. I think they are $25 per hour.

Personally I'd ask a family member or friend to be in charge. It's the one thing that will probably fall to the wayside as you hostess & make sure everything ok the way you want it.

I don't think it's too late for a waitress. I think there are a few people on here that do that as a side job.

If she is available....I used Silver Spoon
(one of the LIF vendors) and she was phenomenal

As far as pics, I would definately try to delegate a responsible family member
( maybe someone w/out children) to take pics for you !..If you have more than one camera, hold on to one yourself and give specific instructions to whovever you put in charge ( candids, cake, guests etc...)

I used an amazing girl over the weekend...She did everything for me & was so personable, I really enjoyed our party b/c of her!!!
