I totally understand...my bday is Sunday and all I want to do is relax with DH and go out to dinner. Your DH should understand!

It sounds like you do have a lot going on right now and would like nothing more than to relax on your birthday.
I say give the tickets away; I am sure DH will understand. It is your birthday and you need to enjoy it the way you would like to. You do not need to feel bad!!!
