nope- but Jake is a great street fighter and I feel pretty safe that even if someone broke in with a gun- we would be ok
when he was a bouncer he took guns off people, dodged stabbing etc
so we don't need one- and I don't want one

We do not own a gun, but I did grow up with a gun in the house. My father was NYPD. I definitely felt safe knowing that we had a gun in the house and someone who was properly trained to use it.
We came home once while our house was being robbed and my dad got out of the car so fast, gun drawn, running into the house. It was quite a scarry scene but i think his police instincts just took over. They ended up running out of the house empty handed.
In general though, I think that unless you are required to have a gun for work (and even then it shoudl ALWAYS be locked up), people should not have guns in thier homes.

No guns, but I took a self-defense class in college.
If I could only remember all of the ways out of things...
I only remember a few:
Push arms away in direction of locking at elbows
Go for the EYES
and.. go for the obvious painful spot on men

I don't, but DH has a few. I never see them. he his licensed and they're totally legit.
ETA: they don't really bother me all that much since I grew up in Israel. my Dad had all kinds of guns including an Uzi.

Its not yours...that is the safest answer you can give! i dated a Corrections Officer and his roomate was umm on the "other side of the law"..the not so good one. So there was multiple guns in the house and not one was mine.
as for the present time with dh and i....not one in our home. but a few i do not claim as my own at my place of employment.
