Birthday present question

My daughter got invited to a birthday party for twin boys, one boy is in her kindergarten class the other is in the class next door. Do I have to buy for both boys or just the boy in her class? The invite says the name of both boys and she knows of them since they are twins but only really talks to the boy in her class.
My gift of choice has been a 25 gift card to Target lately and I hope that is ok. For girls I have done Michaels.
Thanks so much!

Re: Birthday present question

Yes, I would buy for both boys. I don't think you need to get them each a $25 gift card...that seems like a lot. I would maybe get 2 smaller gifts/gift cards?

I would get them each a $15 gift card.

Birthday present question

As a twin I would only expect a gift if it was from a classmate. I would only get 1 gift.

How about getting a board game or other toy that they can use together?

I would get them each a gift but spend less than what you usually spend for each kid.

i would get them each a gift. i would feel bad if one of them had more classmates come and ended up getting more gifts- ya know?
but definitely spend less on each kid than you usually spend- a $15 target gift card and a box of candy per kid sounds good i think.

Birthday present question

Thank you. I honestly feel like if the invitation was just for one of the kids I would only have to buy just one gift but since it says both boys I feel like I have to buy for both. I think I will look for two small games and maybe a book or something.

I would give to the twin who invited her which is probably the one in her class.

I have twins, right now they are little but everyone always gives them their own gift. If my twins were in separate classes I wouldn’t expect them to get gifts from a kid they don’t know! I think if you feel unsure the shared game suggestion is perfect

Re: Birthday present question

I have twins, buying for the twin that she is friends with is totally acceptable. When we are in the same situation I try to buy a gift that they can both use even if it is only one. (Lego sets, movie theater gift cards etc)

I was thinking of movie theater gift card too. I may do that instead of the target one. Im thinking she invited both classes, there are 24 kids in each class. My daughters other friend is just buying for the boy in the class that they know. They know of the other twin but they don't play with him since he is in the other class.

I think a joint gift would be good. Like maybe water games or water shooters, that they can play with together.
