So let me get this straight...................
Al Franken is resigning due to pressure over his sexual misconduct allegations yet Moore has the FULL support of our jackass, sexually inappropriate moron of a president, is allowed to still run in this race and that is just "ducky" with people??? How can ANYONE be outraged over Franken (or any one of the other countless other sexual predators that have been brought to light) but be okay with a godamm pedophile having the support of the PRESIDENT and potentially being elected in office???!! What in the actual f$@k is wrong with the people in this country???!!!! Unreal. I find this sick, what a double standard. If Franken is forced to resign, Moore should be ousted from this election. COMPLETE BS that there are different standards. I'm so disgusted with this backwards country that a$$hole Trump is propagating!

IQ45 and Moore never admitted (other than the tapes, and various comments over the years) to their illegal (and very sick) activity, so it's just a media witch hunt.
The hypocrisy in the GOP is just mind blowing....

It makes me want to scream. He actually was working for the country, not just his rich friends or the ones who share his beliefs or skin color.
And he is smart and well spoken.
I guess he should have just said "These women are liars" and then it would be fine??
Seems if you are GOP you deny, deny, deny in the face of evidence or corroborating stories and you're good. But if a democrat is accused - HANG THEM!!!!! - no questions asked.

So let me get this straight...................
Democrats can't call for Moore's resignation while letting Franken stay. GOP knows to admit nothing (i.e. Trump and Moore) and, that way, they can carry on with business as usual because they are innocent until proven guilty (which will never happen based on statutes of limitation, non-disclosure agreements, etc.). So, by choosing to do the right thing by not blaming the victims, the Democrats will suffer and the GOP will deny, deny, deny themselves into staying in the majority for years to come. Hopefully, more women will join Congress and the tide will change, but it will get much worse before it gets better.

I have nothing to contribute, but IQ45 is pretty funny!
Sorry, I haven’t been following everything because of personal stuff, but I try to get the basics. I really need to up my news content. I guess I’m a bit all over the place with the German election and all.
If anyone could give an explanation like I’m 5, that would be great.

Yes! BUT the Democrats need to get their shit together, and fast. Simply being the anti-Trump party is not going to do it. I feel like they don't have a clear message.
And maybe it was right that Franken resigned, but I feel like the inquiry should have been allowed to go through all the way. I feel like Dem women threw him under the bus to make a political point (and again, that may have been the right thing) but now what? They need to be making a huge stink about the women who accused Trump and Moore, but crickets.

This is so terrifyingly accurate. I have a few people on my facebook feed who post on alt-right sites, and because I hate myself, I read through the comments sometimes to remind myself what the alt-right actually thinks. The hateful messages that people are publicly posting under their real names are mind blowing.
One of them is a family friend who posts the most rasict, sexist, hateful things, and I really have a hard time reconciling the nice man I know who would do anything for his friends and family with the hate filled man behind the keyboard. He would never call himself a Nazi or alt-right or a white supremacist, but the thoughts and ideas in his posts would make all of those labels accurate.
