In fact, moving can become stressful, time consuming and overwhelming. But, experts suggest that proper planning you can save time and money and have even have peace of mind.

They go on to add that one of the most common mistakes people frequently make when they move is paying others to pack things that mean something to them or have significant monetary value. And, they also entrust these valuables to the movers to transport. With that said, experts suggest making your move more manageable by:

· Getting rid of all things you no longer use, need, or want prior to the move.

· Toss old paperwork that you don’t need

· Give away clothing you no longer like or fit into.

· Make sure any items you store are carefully packed and placed in boxed that are protected from the elements.

· Invest in a roll of blue painter tape and tape dresser drawers shut prior to moving.

· Spend 15 minutes at a clip unpacking boxes, take a short break
