Bassinet Recall: Federal Product Safety Commission Warns Pad Urges Stores To Remove from Shelves

A warning to all parents with young infants, and it’s serious. The Federal Product Safety Commission is urging parents and caregivers to infants, to immediately stop using one popular bassinet brand. This after the second reported death attributed to the product, which includes the Simplicity 3-in-1 and Simplicity 4-in-1 bassinets.

In fact, Wal-Mart, classified as the largest distributors of these bassinets has announced that it is immediately pulling them from the shelves and from the Website.

Officials have gone as far as stating that the potential danger is so severe that the Consumer Product Safety Commission called for a public warning, even before an officially issued recall was in place.
