I am serious. Take him to small claims court to get the car put in your name. If you can prove you have made all the payments for the car, I'm pretty sure you would win.

Just so we don't attribute too much to his character, I have to say the car is insured under my mom and she and I pay for it. He doesn't pay a dime for the car, and I REALLY regret not just letting them take the car and using the $4000 I paid in car payments and $1500 in repairs to put down a nice DP on a new car.

Because now I have a 7 year old car that is starting to have probems and repairs and I have to FIGHT for it

He was really nice, but I'm not sure hearing from him was worth it. It would have been less painful, I think, if he hadn't been so "nice" in his letter. He says he loves me and he misses me, but I know it's not really true, and he's just going to walk around work bragging about how he did this for me and he is so great and I don't bother with him otherwise.




ETA: It's even worse because I really don't want to tell my mom. I didn't want to get her involved and get her upset, but I guess now she is going to find out. I don't want her to get upset that I contacted him, but I just want to make it easier on her.
