We always put white lights. Initially, I wanted colored lights. Once I saw the all white, I fell in love with how it looks.

I always had color lights growing up. Now that we're in our first home, I can finally have my own!!!
Does anyone have a good/bad opinion of pre-strung lights on trees?? I've gooten mixed reviews.

I always use colored lights!! That's what I grew up with and so did DH...he likes them too!

DH and I always argue about this--he loves colored, I love white--but since I do all the shopping white it is! 
ditto! we were actually arguing about it the other day at Target. we said we'd talk about it more at home and go back and buy them later. well, i made the decision for us...clear!!!

last year we did all red, i lovED IT!
I don't know this year... we bought a whole bunch of stuff from the christmas clearance last year and I forgot if we got lights!

I have all white. My tree is a little apartment fakie. Once I have a house and a big tree, I will probably do colored. I tried the colored lights on the small tree and it seemed like there was way too much going on.

We have colored lights. We set up on tree, which is sort of a heirloom tree. I've had many of the ornaments since I was a baby and have received one a year since.
If we did a second tree, it would be white lights and have a theme to it.

Same here. We do white lights and bows that are silver and light blue. We have all glass ornaments. I love how our tree looks.
