I bought a PSP and I am very glad I bought this over the iPod Video.
With the PSP... you can download any movie you want and watch it on the PSP. The PSP screen is much bigger and better than the iPod screen.
Also with the PSP... you can play games on it which is great. You can also download music to it as well.
The big disadvantage of the PSP is storage. I have two 2GB memory cards. But with proper compression... I can store about 20 1hr episodes of my favorite sitcom on a single 2GB card. 
I have MLB 2006, Virtual Tennis, and Madden 06 on the other card.
