Re: Are you a CARD person?

While I like receiving/giving cards, I don't feel like they are necessary, just a nice little bonus.

Re: Are you a CARD person?

Depends on the occassion (ie: if it's a monetary gift) - there's definitely a card...if I'm giving an actual gift - and handing it over - I never give a card.

Cards are over-rated IMO....and in my personal experience...a way to say "I'm sorry for effing up...and now I have to write (beg) for forgiveness" - so maybe, I'm a bit bitter...Chat Icon

Re: Are you a CARD person?

I like to get cards! I usually get them from my immediate family & close friends. I don't "expect" cards in the least bit but I like the gesture!!!

I'm not a card person.

I do give cards because I know that most people aren't like me

this is totally me too! I fell like they are a watse of money, but I give them, just in case people might be offended.

Re: Are you a CARD person?

I'm so not a card person and I have a friend who is and it drives me nuts. She wants a card for every little thing!

I always give a card with a gift but only expect cards from DH, who never gives me one anyway. I actually have to remind him to do it.
