Food Truck Rodeo at Crossroads Farm

Join us at Crossroads Farms for our Food Truck Rodeo on Friday, May 18th from 5- 9 pm. Enjoy live country music from the Stage Coach Band! Delicious food from Empanada Queen, Good Eats Grill, Mr. Smith's Seafood and Frozen Sin trucks. We'll be serving wine and local craft beer from Lithology and at least 3 other breweries. Go on a family hayride, have your kids play on the bounce house slide, play a game of cornhole or just enjoy the fresh air and live music. Come out at support your local organic Farm!

Crossroads Farm is a non-profit organization operated by the Nassau Land Trust, who's mission is to preserve open land in Nassau County. By attending our event you help to preserve Crossroads Farm for generations to come.

The Italian Experience has grown to be a popular Long Island tradition, celebrating Italy's gifts of culture, education and commerce to America.

Each year Hofstra presents an Italian festival, drawing thousands of people from the tristate area. Unlike any other Italian festival, the Hofstra celebration emphasizes the many Italian contributions to American culture.

The festival features food, vendors, handmade crafts, exhibits by cultural organizations, music, dance, poetry and much more for the entire family to enjoy!
Featured/returning acts: •
Emcee: Cav. Josephine A. Maietta, president, AIAE, and host of Sabato Italiano on WRHU-88.7 FM
• Sons of Italy Square featuring a display of regional folk costumes
• The San Remo Duo
• Alessandra Belloni e I Giullari di Piazza
• Long Island Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra• “Pop-era,” featuring members of The Bronx Opera Company
Plus many Italian cultural organizations
Children's Activities include: Bounce House, Puppet Show, Face-Painting and Magic Show.
