Wow - this is a first for me! I got a notification that someone PM'd me, so I came here to find that it was spam. At least I assume it's spam - maybe I should try to get some of that "big amount of money"!

I used to get that Microsoft scam call every day. They have stopped now, thankfully. They would say your computer is infected and I would say oh no! Then I wasted their time when I spent too much time trying to find the on button. I said there are a lot of buttons on the computer, how do I know which one is the on button?

Sometimes I feel like responding to this nonsense with a fake email account and just playing with them for awhile.
There are actually YouTube channels devoted to scam baiting and they are hilarious.
One guy made a whole career out of it. He is a programmer and goes as far as to make fake bank accounts and virtual machines to let them hack into and think they're getting somewhere. He has voice changers and pretends to be an old woman. They get so mad after spending hours with him.
