People wanted something different. Someone that's not a politician and has no political experience in governing. They wanted to shake things up. I'd say they succeeded. Things are pretty shaken up.

It’s even scarier that they are not talking to each other. We have no Commander in chief and he is not speaking with the second in command. It’s such a mess. They keep saying it’s only 9 days left but that’s so scary for the country to be vulnerable for this long.
God forbid another state of emergency happens to this country, we’re just sitting ducks? Because people aren’t talking to each other and our leader is too busy being mad at Twitter and Pence?
I’m not surprised that this happened but I’m still in shock that it actually happened. Idk if that even makes sense.

Honestly, if there God forbid was an emergency he would find a way to make it infinitely worse. He's good at one thing only - causing mayhem. I don't know what made anyone think someone who failed at running a casino! could run a country with the power and stature of USA. Maybe he should've started smaller. Mayor of a farm town in Latvia. If he didn't kill the goats we could talk about moving him up.
Jan 20 is still a long way to go. And knowing they still have more violence planned is anxiety inducing. It's a sick feeling waiting for the other shoe to drop. This country is not normal.

No, he shouldn't finish his days. Congress MUST set a precedent that we as nation will NOT under any circumstances tolerate lawlessness and insurrection, especially from the POTUS. This cannot and should not slide.
Aside from that, he has proven he cannot be trusted. Any number of things can go wrong in these last few days, we must protect our national interests and have him removed. There is no other option here, Congress HAS to deal with this. This is EXACTLY why we have the 25th, if Pence won't invoke it he must be impeached.

Him speaking or not speaking is irrelevant. I think I safely speak for the vast majority of this country when I say, we never want to hear another word out of his lying, treasonous mouth again. NOT one word. We as a nation aren't asking for him to do anything, he's already done enough. We just want him gone ASAP. He needs to be held accountable for his part in the attempted overthrow of our government. Period. This should not be debatable, he's a clear and present danger right now. His lies won't save him this time.

You have misread this post. We don't find it disturbing that Pence and Trump are not talking to the nation, it's that the two people who hold the highest position in the land aren't talking to EACH OTHER! Which in short means, they aren't leading. They aren't doing their job.
So to reiterate, nobody is looking for Trump to say a damn thing about any of this. All anyone wants right now is for him to continue to shut up and be removed before any further damage ensues. He cannot and should not get away with that he's done.

Two VERY different topics. The POTUS and VPOTUS should almost always be in close communication with each other. The VP needs to know what's going on at all times in case he has to take over, and to help make decisions. Regardless of who the POTUS and VPOTUS are.
However, the general public doesn't need to hear him inciting violence, or insurrections. We also don't need to hear him saying how he "loves" domestic terrorists.
