ETA: Found it! Youth Sport can open July 6th .. where can I get the list and restrictions
Cuomo announced some youth sports can open. I have read several articles where they list some example but they also say etc or for example.
How do i get the full list of sports are included and what restrictions and/or rules have to be followed?
I know he said only 2 spectators per child but I dont see what other restrictions were given.
I tried to find this information on the governors web site but I never can!!

I do not see how they are going to enforce the "2 spectators" per kid rule. If it is outside and people spread out.
Glad to see this though. Hopefully we will be able to have a somewhat normal summer before the second wave hits.

I think the facilities are different. My son starts baseball practice this week. We have to drop him off and come back. He starts July 13 for games, by then they said both parents can be there. I hope they let my other son come.

Youth Sport can open July 6th .. where can I get the list and restrictions
I saw a slide this morning.
It says it includes:
Baseball
Softball
Field Hockey
Gymnastics
Cross Country
Crew
I hope it includes karate (there is a lot you can do as an individual) and swimming for those who swim (since pools can open).
ETA - I know many travel leagues have started socially distanced baseball practices already.

My thinking is if someone is actually there to enforce it they would count the amount of players then times that by 2 and if its more they shut it down.
thats how I would at least enforce it but i doubt anyone would be there to enforce it and maybe you are right it would be the limit is for only inside spectators. Which is why I wish i can find the rules/regulations.
It frustrates me that I can never find the details of his orders!

Not that I dont think they shouldnt be starting just that that they would go ahead and do it without the go ahead!
I only know for baseball and softball that USA Little League has posted regulations that our local group is going to follow.

sorry, I thought you were talking baseball. It may probably be the same, because you are indoors. I have not heard anything from my son's hockey league.

I haven't heard of any projections as to when LI might be in Phase 3. Most of Upstate NY is in Phase 3, or will be tomorrow.

Phase 3 should be next week - Tues in Mid-Hudson and Weds on LI. If things continue to move well, everywhere but NYC will be in Phase 4 by 7/8.

My kickboxing gym is opening next Monday, with restrictions.

sorry, I thought you were talking baseball. It may probably be the same, because you are indoors. I have not heard anything from my son's hockey league.
Well, if it’s canceled I get a 5 day vacation in Florida 
But at this point I’m pretty sure it’s on. Hockey kind of marches to the beat of their own drum and Florida kids have been playing for a month or so now.

Found the information posted.
Lists more sports then the one power point he presented.
Also seems like you can’t travel out of state for a sport if I read it correctly.
ETA: I am confused can someone please explain to me for high risk sports they're allow to start but only based on what is listed in this document: Summary of Sports Reg

I’m thinking it means like for basketball - you can work on individual dribbling and shooting but you can’t have scrimmages or 3-2 drills.
A very interesting and lengthy document!
I have DS 1 signed up for a week of baseball camp and a week of golf camp. He usually also does a week of Gaelic football camp and 3 weeks of basketball camp... Hoping to get a week in of basketball camp somewhere.

Our gym is opening in phase 4 but you need to wear a mask all the time. We bought a Peleton instead.
