Sarah Lawrence and dad living in dorm
Did anyone hear this story? It is insane. These kids were brain washed, and families extorted??? Something is not adding up for me. How did the school say it is okay for an ex felon to move into his kids dorm room?

Doing a Google search on this earlier and came across an article from last year on this.
Very long but with a lot of information. So disturbing. I had not heard anything about this till the new broke yesterday.

And this right here makes me think someone was either paid off or was part of what was going on.
Claudia’s parents were suspicious of him. When they realized he was living in Slonim 9, they met with Allen Green, Sarah Lawrence’s dean of student life. Green told them he’d received other complaints about Larry but his hands were tied; a father had a right to visit his daughter on campus, he explained. A second meeting ended similarly. (Green did not respond to multiple requests for comment. Sarah Lawrence said it “had no record that Larry Ray lived on campus at any time.”)

This is really effed up. When we shipped my SD off to college last year, we gave her a variety of potential dangers on college campuses to be aware of. Being exploited and turned into a sex slave by her roomate's dad (who would then also be a roomate) was not one of them. WTF!!! And at that college of all colleges??? Like, really???

Oh they did! They tried to get the police involved and the school but were told there was nothing that could be done because of their ages.
The authorities only got involved after that story I posted above was published.
It's a very long read but well worth it. Gives a lot of information. Unreal what was going on. Extremely disturbing.

I finally just read the article. How does that even happen?? How do none of those kids think its weird that Talia's dad moves in to the freaking dorm? How is that no adult on that campus noticed this dude living there? WTF?!

It says he moved in there in 2010, how is this still going on? Wouldn't his daughter have graduated? If my daughter told me someones dad was living at her dorm, I'd be there in a heartbeat raising holy hell!

WTF!
I can't even imagine! He is THAT good and manipulative.
I get it.... college kids are considered "adults" so they can make their own decisions, but really a lot of them aren't.
I went to college and can't imagine what they went through. All those manipulative lectures he gave them and guilted them into giving him money and convincing them they were the bad ones breaking his stuff and all... Ugh!

They eventually moved to an apartment in Manhattan.

The school is at fault here. No one checked in on those dorms? No one noticed a 60 year old man LIVING there? Give me a break. They didn’t care what happened as long as they got the $65k a year in tuition.
