4 year old bday party

Hi there!
So, my daughters 4th bday party is Memorial Day weekend and we usually just do them in our backyard. (I was thinking this year that we could have it at Nunleys Carousel but the time/date is already booked). Anyhow, this will be the first year that my daughter is actually asking for friends to be invited - usually it's just family and some adult friends that have kids. She actually requested to invite her entire nursery school class! So, I feel like I need to up my bday game a bit Chat Icon
Anyone have recommendations for companies that do cotton candy machine rentals, and possibly face painting? She's not into clowns or magic and I'm thinking we don't really need a "character" to come visit. I would like somebody to run the cotton candy machine, though (not just drop it off). Who do you all use? We are in Nassau, btw.
Thank you in advance!

Nunleys books super early because it’s so reasonable.

If you rent a bounce house, those companies can provide other things.

We did clowns.com for a pirate and they did everything: freeze dance, cotton candy, face paint, bubbles, balloons, music, tug of war, a magic show. It is worth it!

Only side note is be sure to see what the rain policy is and on a holiday weekend, you MAY have a low RSVP rate.

Thank you for the reply. We really aren't interested in a bounce house, magic show, etc....really just the cotton candy and maybe face painting. Honestly, my little girls bday parties are usually filled with just a dozen family members and a few of our friends that have kids - hanging out and doing cake and ice cream in a fun theme. Super low key. But I will def call them and see if they offer a-la-carte services and get their prices.

Mem day weekend can definitely be hard. Luckily, our family and really close friends have always set aside the time to be there the past 3 bdays. I know with this one, inviting school mates and all, we may get a lot of declines for the party. But, it's really unavoidable this year. The following weekend is my godsons bday party - and the weekend before I will likely just be a few days post-partum with #2 (due 5/15). God help me with this party Chat Icon

Not sure where you are in Nassau but Hempstead Lake State Park has a carousel with a party room and it's pretty reasonable. I think you have to bring your own food/decorations - but there is a playground within walking distance for the younger crowd. (Not close enough where you wouldn't need an adult to walk over with small kids, but connected to the same parking lot.)

That isn't far from me at all....I'm in Williston Park. I'm definitely going to give the park a call....thank you!
