I have only used mine to make wings but they are so good. The only reason we have a microwave is because it is built in above the stove and came with our house. We never had a microwave when we rented.

Finally got an Air Fryer
I love doing eggplant parm and crispy chickpeas more than anything else but I will cook almost anything in there. Grilled cheese, taquitos, quinoa fritters, cauliflower, potatoes, chicken nuggets, meatballs, onion rings, bread fish...

So far meatballs are my favorite. I still have yet to try chicken cutlets, I think I might make them this week.

Finally got an Air Fryer
Wow, I so want to get one but just didn't know if I would use it often. I was debating on getting an insta pot instead, but now I am really torn.

How do you make the crispy chick peas? I tried in the oven once and they didn't get crispy.

Re: Finally got an Air Fryer
Last night I made the skinny taste air fried pork chops. They were great. I have gotten a lot of recipes from that website. I love the empanadas, chicken nuggets, bagels and sweet potato fries too.

Rinse and dry them on a towel. Then I toss with a little bit of olive oil (maybe a teaspoon) and lots of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. I cook them for about 15 minutes at 400 and just shake them every few minutes. We eat them plain as a snack or in salads or as a crunchy topping for soup. So easy!

I got the nespresso. Life changing! I got a really teeny tiny one. But it came with the milk frother. It's so tiny which is perfect since we have zero counter space left. And BBB took the 20% coupon.

I was introduced to it in a hotel room we stayed in last month that had one and we both left that trip dying to get one. We didn't want to wait either!

Finally got an Air Fryer
We love this, I do wish I got a bigger one but it makes school nights so much easier anything the oven can do this does quicker. Also you can mimic "fried" foods but its healthy. Def not a useless kitchen gadget (I have plenty of those lol)

Re: Finally got an Air Fryer
I've mainly used mine for empanadas (they come out great!) and I've also used the empanada shells to make apple tarts. Wings come out great too.
There are lots of great ideas here, I'm glad I opened the thread- several things I've never heard of!

We got the Nuwave Brio 3qt My DH surprised me with it so I don’t know about other brands but so far loving it!! Super easy to use and clean up is a breeze! I like that it’s digital and came with a handy cookbook and guide for frozen and non frozen cook/temp times He got it at bed bath, I believe it was $90 after the 20% off coupon
I have made a baked apple every day since Sunday lol soooooo good!!! Tonight I’m trying Panko crusted Parmesan chicken cutlets and roasted asparagus

Finally got an Air Fryer
I make my own fries a lot. I soak the potatoes in water for about 30 min. Then I shake them in a bag with a little olive oil and some seasoning (I use Seasonal All). Then fry them up. So delish!
