What to send a mourning family
My friends close relative passed away suddenly and I live out of state and wanted to do something for her family since I cannot attend the services.
We are jewish, so typically I would send food. They are catholic - what is the most appropriate gesture?

Seamless offers e-gift cards now...if they live in an area that Seamless offers delivery to, that's a good idea. They may be inundated with trays of food, and this way they could use the gift card at their convenience.

We got dish gardens when my grandparents died 10+ years ago that my parents still have today.
Food is tough because SO many people send food. Still a lovely gesture though. Maybe send it the week after the services?
