First Communion - Boys Attire
My DS will be celebrating his 1st Communion this spring. I'm wondering what boys traditionally wear. I had in my head that I wanted him to wear a white suit but now I'm not sure. (I haven't been to a 1st Communion since I was a kid)
What do boys usually wear?

Very few wore white to my son's 2 years ago. DS had a navy suit, a navy gingham shirt and a navy/green striped tie. I'd say almost all of the boys wore a navy suit or navy jackets and tan slacks.

Over the past few years, I've seen an increase in navy suits on the boys with definitely less than half in white suits.

Both my boys wore black suits. There were a few kids that wore white. Many wore navy

One ds wore a seersucker suit and the other wore navy. From what I remember, 1-2 boys wore white, most wore navy, and a few did navy blazers with khaki, white, or colored pants.

My son goes to catholic school, and they had to wear navy blue suits.
My son wore a light navy blue suit, with suspenders and a bow tie (I wanted him stand out). He wore the white tie for the ceremony and then I switched it afterwards.

our church we had mostly navy suits or khacki pants with navy blazer. a couple of kids had on black suits or other blazers.

My son wore a navy blue suit with a white shirt and a white tie. Most of the boys were in navy with white shirts, but some had colored ties and some didn't.
