Nickelodeon Resort - Punta Cana
We just got back yesterday from the Nickelodeon resort in Punta Cana. We stayed for four nights and five days. We have three boys, age 11, 8 and 5. All of the kids loved it. The water park kept them entertained every day. The beach and pool were very nice, but my kids preferred the water park.
The food was okay and they had plenty of kid friendly choices.
The service was good. The people were very friendly and always looking to make your experience great.
We had booked a suite and we upgraded to a bigger suite when we arrived. Even with the upgrade, the room was small. The pull out couch was only big enough for one, we had our 5 year old in the king size bed with us, and they gave us a cot. I would hardly call the room a “suite”. The only thing bigger would have been a villa, which was much more expensive the week we were there.
There were lots of activities for the kids and they loved it.
Definitely recommend this place for a family vacation!

I was looking into this. Punta Cana is so affordable, but the Nick resort is mo much pricier than the rest of the resorts. Glad to hear it's worth it.

We didn’t get the swim up suite because I was nervous about my youngest wandering out into the pool. We were on the second floor and the swim up suites were below. They looked really cool!

Really wanted to try out this resort but we like a suite which contains a separate bedroom. For our family of 5 they don’t have this available so we booked the new Royalton Bavaro. Glad you had a great time!

how was the beach? I read reviews that said the beach wasn't great and water was really rough?

The beach was okay. The water wasn’t as clear as I thought it would be.
