DaycareDay teacher gift
Is it normal now to give monetary gifts? Should i purchase something or give a gift card? There are two main teacher. Also do i get the director and asst director a gift too? They are all so great with my child.
Suggestions please.

I always did gift cards.
I never bought for the directors just the teachers and assistants

We give cash to the teachers and assistants. Our director is the owner, so we don't give her anything, and the assistant director is my son's teacher, so she's already getting something.

We did Target gift cards for the teachers/assistant teachers. They were very appreciative!

I did Target GC's. My DD goes to a licensed home daycare, I got for the two co-owners and two full time assistants. The rest one of the co-owners said are subs so I didn't get anything for them but I may pick up a cookie platter or something for them to share.

I gave visa gift cards for the teachers and a bottle of wine and box of cookies for the Director and Assistant Director.

We gave Target or Visa giftcards to the teachers and a little something to the Director and Assistant Director (there are now 3... - my kids still go for aftercare).

i give $100 cash to the main sitter who's house it is (in-home daycare), and $25 gift cards to the 2 helpers
