My DS will be 4 1/2 soon and he’s still in a crib. I think we’re hoping to break some kind of record.

Dd1 went to a full sized bed from a crib at 3 1/2.
Dd2 is almost 2 1/2 and still in a crib.

Both were around 2.5. Dd1 went to a toddler bed until she was over 5 and dd2 went straight into a twin.

DD was 17 mo when we switched to a full size bed
DS is 13 mo, and as soon as I stop worrying about him falling out of a bed (he moves SO much more than DD did), he will be in a full size bed too. I'm literally counting down the days lol. I'm hoping another 5 or 6 months we can switch

a little over 2-- we did it to help with potty training although we havent gotten much progress with the night training yet.
he didnt care so we really shouldnt have done it yet bc now we have to make it back into a crib (which i read may not be as safe?) for DS2 in march

Going to be 3 next month and still in the crib. He sleeps great in it so I see no reason to switch to a regular bed yet.

how long did your toddler stay in a crib?
Right before he turned 2 we put him into a twin bed. We only did this because I'm due with my second in February and the baby is going to need the crib. DS slept great in the crib and never tried to climb out so if it wasn't for the new baby coming he would still be in it.

DS got it at about 3.5 when he was willing to give up his pacifier

My son was 3.5. He requested it since his cousins all had big kid beds. It was an easy transition. He is in a toddler bed.

DS #1 - 2 weeks before he turned 4 (we moved so he went into big boy bed)
DS #2 - 6 monthsl maybe lol
DS #3 - turned 4 in September and is still in it
DS#4 - 2 and still in crib
If they are sleeping good and are happy I wouldn't kick them out of the crib.

DS # 1- 2 years 7 months
DS # 2- 19 months went to toddler bed (he was a climber), twin at 3
twin DD's- they are 2 years 9 months and in toddler beds. Will probably transition to twins after Christmas.
DD- 18 months, still in crib

At 3 we took the front rail off dd's crib to make it a toddler bed. Shes still sleeping in that at 5. Will probably switch to a big girl bed soon.

Stayed in crib until just before 4 and then moved to a toddler bed. After a couple of months he went into a full size.

We just moved my 3 1/2 year old boy to a toddler crib two weeks ago bevause he climbed out of his crib and broke his arm in two places ??. I guess he should have been moved earlier than this but he reallu loved his crib and didn't want a big boy bed.

DSs ped told us to switch him to a toddler bed when he started trying to climb out or when he left for college, whichever came first.
Needless to say, he started climbing out at 2 and a half and we switched him to a toddler bed.

DD was about 2.5-I was pregnant with DS and I wanted her to be over the crib.
DS was maybe around the same age or a bit later..he was so big and tall in the crib, it looked uncomfortable and he would bump around..
Good thing because DC3 is coming soon and we kept the crib and now both older DCs are way over it lol
