Fingerlings monkey
I just bought one - I have no idea if my dd wants one or not, but I don't want to be stuck without one if she wants it. LOL - this is ridiculous, I know.

Re: Fingerlings monkey
Oddly enough I asked my DD if she wanted one awhile back and she said no. And that is very unusual for her!

You think so? I don’t really see the appeal... other than the heavy ads and “holiday toy” quotes.

My friend went to TRU and waited for the truck to come in. She got one - there were 14 on the truck. Her mom went back an hour later and got another one (there were 3 left since it's early enough in the season the line wasn't insane).

There is nothing on this planet I would wait in line for hours for....other than maybe a winning powerball ticket.

Fingerlings monkey
This thing does nothing but make noise and close its eyes. I got it for my 5 year olds and after a day or so I have not seen it played with again. It is useless does nothing.

I am with you. I did go to TRU last year a little before opening to see if they had the PJ mask headquarters cause that's all my DS wanted. There was a small line forming for thankfully hatchimals. I was also lucky enough to get the headquarters. That's the closet I will get to standing on any line for anything

Fingerlings monkey
I ordered two from Amazon a month or two ago after hearing they'd be the hot item. I figure if my kids don't ask for them I can help out a desperate friend or two. Thankfully my kids don't seem to hear about or see these hot toys, they still don't even know what hatchimals are.
