The more I read these boards, the more I realize what a dirty slob I am!
You're not alone. I never even knew this was a thing. I mean when they are infants, yes but now older, hell no. My kids wear their same PJs all week until I do laundry that Friday or Sunday. Same for me. Like others have said, they bathe at night, sleep, get dressed in the morning before eating breakfast.

No and I do not wear fresh pajamas every night. My son throws his pajamas in his hamper every day even though I repeatedly ask him to fold them and put them back in the drawer. He doesn't like to rewear them but he's 9 and he can rewear them a couple times until he's the one doing the laundry. I do laundry every monday and it's an insane amount of laundry without having my kids wear 7 different sets of pajamas.

You know why they do it, because it's easier to dump in a hamper than to fold.
My DD would do the same thing if I didn't constantly scold her about it

Wash after every use. My kids are slobs and always dropping food or toothpaste or god knows what on themselves.
We used to wear them twice but I hated them putting the dirty pajamas back in the draw with the clean ones. Then nothing smells fresh. I do laundry so often anyway so its really no big deal.

My kids have a lot of pjs and wear fresh ones every night. I don't need to do laundry any more often because of pjs. I'm already doing laundry multiple times per week because of sports uniforms. The only time they wear pjs again is on vacation when I try to not pack as many of them.

holy s*$% balls I encourage my daughter to sleep in her clothes if it's a non bath night....
she is 3 she lives in leggings....
who seriously has the time to wash all the clothes - and little clothes are way more annoying to wash and fold than big clothes

Folding and putting them away is the WORST.
I went out and bought my daughter enough clothes and undies so I only have to do her laundry every 2 weeks.
I just can't.....

yes my kids are 7, 5 and 2 and usually their pjs go in the hamper every morning. I feel like i'm always doing laundry!

I had posted that my DD wears hers twice and then they go in the hamper, but I meant that she wears them two nights in a row (so she leaves them on the end of her bed to wear them the second night). I see that some others are saying they put them back in their drawers.

I used to but now we usually do a new pair on bath night, which is every other night unless exceptionally dirty or it's sunscreen season.

Fold and put on the edge of the bed or back in tbe drawer

4 year old wears a couple of times unless she throws them on the floor which she usually doesn’t do. The baby nightly as she likes to drool breastmilk down her pjs and me.

nope. They wear them probably about 3 or 4 times before wash. But I will say they don't eat breakfast or anything in them. They put them on when we go up for bed and take them off in the morning before going down stairs
Same for me and I have a 7 year old and a 16 month old.

When they were babies and spit up a lot I would give them fresh pj's every night. But now that they are older, 9 and 4 yrs old, they wear their pj's for 2 nights before getting a fresh pair.

DS gets a bath every night, so he always wears fresh pajamas. He gets them dirty in the morning when he eats breakfast anyway. Maybe when he's older we can get more than one night out of them.

My kids sweat at night. They usually always have a runny nose/cough so snot on something somewhere. Also some of my kids in diapers so definitely a "pee" smell. So yes, we wash after each wear, contributing to my laundry mountain

Yes wear once then in wash.
They take baths every night however they do wake up and eat breakfast before I change them to clothes.
Funny thing is though I don't wear new Pjs every night.
Maybe I am more OK with it cause I have no joke 20 pairs at least of PJ for DS and DD has a good amount too (all hand me downs)
sometimes I do let DD wear the same pair
