Enjoyable school fundraisers
Are there any good ones out there? I don't mind supporting the school, but so far we have received the candy/wrapping paper booklet and the kid stuff booklet.
There have to be some decent fundraisers that actually make money for the school...

There are not like they used to be. So much smaller, and the taste isn't nearly the same. I was disappointed!

The Harlem Wizards is a HUGE money maker. Our kids and parents enjoy that! It's like the Harlem Globetrotters...and they come to the school and play basketball against the faculty. It makes thousands!

I do a Yankee candle fundraiser for kids nursery school. It did awesome last year. It's a small school and we made quite a bit. The school gets 40% of profits

DS had that in pre school and I loved it. I don't mind the wrapping paper one.

We do a ladies night with raffle baskets at a catering hall. Ton of work but such a great night. Last year we raised over $25,000

Enjoyable school fundraisers
We did art to remember last year, a paint night at muse paint bar, and this year the next president is doing a trivia night in a couple of weeks.

Enjoyable school fundraisers
We just do a Fall Festival. Games, rides, cake walk, little vendor booths and raffles. One day a year. Sell wrist bands for stuff.
No other fund raisers thankfully.
No begging coworkers for wrapping paper, candy, cookies, fudge, chocolates.
Raises about $45k-50k a year
I freak when I see our PTA balance.. sorta pisses me off to be honest but we do have robotics, choir, band and science clubs. Meh Its why I chose my house (this elementary)

none i hate all of them and honestly never do them. 
I rather just donate money!!
With that said. I hear the basket raffle nights make tons of money.
If you are looking for something to send home with the kids. I would say the chocolate bars would be your best bet.

Same. All that shit goes right in the trash. I'm not buying it and I'm certainly not selling it.
Just name me a number- how much do you want- and I'll write out a check.
If it was chocolate bars I'd buy them though!

They aren't the same but, they are still good and an easy sell.
We do a ton of fundraisers - we don't get much traction on ones other than the coupon book and the tricky tray - but, some people do them so it is worth it to do all of them.

Our school does well with Gertrude hawk chocolates right before easter. They do a fitwalk every fall that is 100% donation to the PTA, which is good for parents who don't want more crap (like myself lol). We also do a carnival in may every year and sell wrist bands, we make a killing off that, but I HATE it as a parent bc I need to make food or desserts for them to sell and with 4 kids it's a pain.
I also like the dinners our school does. Once a month they choose a place that gives us 20% of each persons total bill. A few pizza places do it, and we have an ice cream place that our teachers help out and my kids love going to get ice cream from their teachers lol.

I've been to school fundraiser Chinese auction as well as other fundraisers of the same type. I think they are the most enjoyable. I like getting together with people in my community and spending money for a good cause. Dinner, conversation and a chance to win a basket of goodies I normally wouldn't even think of buying. Plus I always put in tickets for the Lotto Basket full of scratch offs lol
Also anything edible is a winner. The worlds finest chocolates aren't as good as they used to be but I'll eat them - they are chocolate!!

Enjoyable school fundraisers
We have a bunch:
Chocolate bar sale
Golf/tennis outing
night out for parents w/ dancing and A LOT of raffles at a local Country Clib
Those 3 are our largest, we also have a Christmas tree sale, bake sales and a yoga benefit.
We are a private school so fundraising is done often!

I'm on the PTA board and our biggest fundraisers are the Spring Auction (which is a dinner/auction/night out at Crest Hollow Country Club) and our Holiday Boutique (we set up a "boutique" at school with all sorts of gifts that the kids can buy for their family, friends, pets.. parents send in money/a budget of who they want to buy for. Some of the items are things like "mom" mugs, but we also sell some nice things. Prices usually range from .50 to 10.00, but most items are in the $3 to $6 range. The kids really like it.
We also do a fall plant sale (with beautiful mums, indian corn, etc.), pre-order only, and a spring plant sale (both a pre-sale for the parents and a school sale for kids) with vegetables, herbs, flowers. Parents seem to like the plants to do their seasonal planting/decorating.
We do a Thanksgiving pie sale - parents can pre-order a selection of pies to pick up the day before Thanksgiving break to serve/bring to holiday dinners.
We do 2 movie nights at school for the kids. Not huge money makers (we only charge $2 a person) but we do make money on the concession items we sell (popcorn, candy, drinks, glow sticks) and raffles (we raffle of a movie basket, a do a 50/50 raffle).
We also do a BINGO night fundraiser that the kids love! We get a bunch of Five Below type prizes and sell the bingo cards/supplies and concessions.
We also do Barnes & Noble fundraiser during PARP week - we have a night at Barnes & Noble where teachers come read to the kids, they can decorate bookmarks, our chorus group performs, and then a % of the sales that night go to the school PTA. We've done similar things with local fast food and casual chain restaurants like McDonald's, Chipotle, etc. where a % of sales that night go to the PTA.
We try to do things that raise money but are also fun activities for the kids (or parents) or sell useful, seasonal items that people will want to buy.

Each month my kids school makes between $400-$600, so it adds up over the course of the school year.
