I really feel like you should disclose that you make money when people buy through your affiliate links. To not disclose this is a violation of FTC policy, and just plain dishonest.

the specific link above is called an amazon affiliate link. the poster earns a commission on purchases made after a user clicks the link.
this certainly doesn't apply to ALL links posted on this site (sorry, I didn't mean to imply that it did!). I'm talking just about this specific one. A typical givaway is if you hover over the link itself. it will usually be shortened to "amzn.to". But, if you expand the link, you can see the embedded tag which identifies the amazon affiliate. It will usually be buried in the link and appear as "linkCode=sl2&tag=affiliateidhere".

Honestly, I've posted affiliate links without even thinking about it. I follow groups and if that's where I see the sale I may copy and paste to here without a second thought. I truly wish I made money off Amazon but I'm definitely not the one benefiting. I never even thought about it until someone posted something similar to this recently.
