Kid's Bedding -- Comforter or Quilt?
DD is almost 2 and we've decided to skip the whole crib conversion and move her straight into a twin. Need to buy her a new bedding set and trying to decide between a comforter set or a quilt set. Which do your kids have? Thanks!

I also moved my DD straight to a twin. I initially bought her a down comforter with a duvet cover, but I found it was too bulky for her and would get all discombobulated overnight. I ended up buying her a quilt and it works much better. It's thinner and more manageable for her.

I like the comforter with the ability to wash the duvet cover frequently... and the comforter gets washed infrequently

We have both. For older DS I found a great sports quilt that goes perfectly in his room. For DS2 he's into Avengers so he picked out a comforter with Captain America. I don't love it, but it wasn't a lot, washes easily and in a few years when he outgrows it we'll get a more mature one. Just depends on your taste and how it goes in the room. Can't go wrong with either.

We use comforters. My DD is like me and likes to be wrapped up and cozy in bed.

My kids like several blankets each so I got quilts. I figured with a comforter they'll roast in the summer bc theyll still want at least 2 blankets.

This may be a silly question but what is the difference?

Re: Kid's Bedding -- Comforter or Quilt?
We had to replace dds quilt with a comforter because it weighs itself down, so if one corner starts sliding off the bed, the whole thing would just slide off onto the floor.
