So exciting!!! I'm so excited to have a boy this time around :) My anatomy scan is next Friday. I'm super excited to see how much he's grown!

I was so nervous too. It's so scary. I was scanned for over an hour. Baby couldn't get into a particular position for the last picture they needed, but all was good in the end. Good luck!

Congrats!
I am hanging in there. I have my anatomy scan next Wednesday night and I'm counting down the days! For some reason I cannot commence any sort of nesting activity until after the 20 week scan. I figure 10 weeks between 20-30 will be enough time to get everything ready. With my DD I was so uncomfortable from 30 weeks on so I doubt I'll feel like doing much other than washing and folding clothes at that point. Time seems to be moving quickly though! Summer will be here before you know it ladies!

I don't even have an idea where this baby is going to go in my house lol I haven't bought any furniture for a nursery or anything. I have to move my DS upstairs but hes still such a baby, not even 1 1/2 :( so I am reluctant to do anything just yet

Hey ladies! Just checking in. How are ya'll doing? The end of the 2nd tri feels like no-man's land to me. September is too far away to start getting REALLY excited but too close to ignore completely, if ya know what I mean. My husband and I have finally, FINALLY chosen a name for our daughter so I am super relieved and excited. I made a registry on Amazon of things we will need (not having a shower with this baby, just trying to stay organized) and I will probably drag my daughter's old clothes out of the basement at some point in June. She was a summer baby so I think I might need some pants and long sleeved onesies for this little one. Hope you are all feeling well!!!

Well I officially cant breathe. I just finished lunch at work and I literally am reclining at my desk because I feel like I am breathing through a straw. I forgot about this feeling. It makes me anxious

Omgahhhh SAME! I was just saying to my husband last night that I'm 23 weeks feeling like I'm 37 weeks.

We still can't decide on a name and I'm pretty sure this baby will be nameless until we leave the hospital lol. I also started making a registry just to organize what things we need, but we have all the big items from my DD. Only big purchase will be a double stroller.
I have my glucose test next week and while I feel like this whole pregnancy has been dragging I have a feeling the summer is going to fly by!

How is everyone doing? The breathing thing is really bad today. I just ate some lunch and I feel like it's all sitting in my chest and I feel short of breath. Even with the AC on at work I am struggling.

OMG!!! I was just about to come on and ask the same thing. I'm back at my desk after lunch and I feel so short of breath and light headed.

Hi all! Can I be added to the list for a 9/29 due date? Baby girl #2. I'm late to the party!!
I posted earlier today about my worries about zika and surviving this summer. Has anyone talked to their doctor about it? My next appointment is Monday, so I will bring it up then (again), but I feel like there is so little known, it's not going to be fruitful. What is everyone thinking for the summer?
Also, I saw the question about re-using items and I am planning on it! I think the only thing I'm going to get new are bottles and nipples since my DD is still using them!! Otherwise, I'm hoping to make good use out of everything else!!
ETA: I haven't been outside today (see zika freak out above) but I'm scared to go out!

welcome! you've been added :) I have not really thought about Zika to be honest with you. I've been outside like crazy, especially all weekend. I wouldn't drive yourself nuts, but talk to your doctor at your next visit and hopefully they can ease your fears!

This past weekend we just moved DS upstairs to his new bedroom so that we could work on the nursery. I felt like the pregnancy was going fast, but now for some reason 28-30 weeks has been dragging. I feel like I've been saying I am 30 weeks for a month already lol I also finally ordered her some hospital outfits and a coming home outfit, and we decided on her name. I feel very big compared to my last pregnancy.

Ugh I've also been dealing with GD and started my finger pricks and diet last week and it is awful! I didn't have it with my first pregnancy and I'm just so upset about it.
We have done nothing to prepare for this baby lol. I feel like this poor little guy is a complete after thought. We did order new furniture for DD and I'm hoping to move her out of the crib by middle of August. I organized some stuff that we have from her, but I really need to give a closer look and figure out what other necessities we have to go buy.
My sister and I are due 10 weeks apart and she just had her baby on June 2, so that put things into reality! I feel like the summer is going to fly by and all of a sudden I'm going to be like my baby can come any day now and I have nothing

By the time I got home from work yesterday my feet and ankles were MASSIVE. Anyone else? I didn't swell at all with my last pregnancy so this is new for me. Going to try and google some solutions (I'm assuming I just need to hydrate as much as possible and keep my feet elevated) this morning.

I'm sitting in my office with the worst heart burn and tums has done nothing and I've already taken zantac today. I also had lo mein for lunch which was a clearly a big mistake because my blood sugar was sky high. Definitely ready to be done!!!!

The heartburn is so ridiculous. I have like 4 tums in my mouth every night when I go to bed, because laying down makes it worse. I literally get heartburn from water.
