Something Uplifting, Kal Penn
It might be because I love him so much, but this gives me hope. Someone wrote to Kal Penn saying, among other hateful things, that he doesn't belong in America ( he was born in NJ, by the way). Rather than feeding the troll, he started a CrowdRise that benefits refugees, in the guy's name. His original goal was $50,000. He's raised over $300,000 in 24 hours. At least something to make your heart a little happy.
