Anyone been to Dubai?
My family and I are going to Bahrain to visit my cousin and probably won't come back, j/k  We are going to fly to Dubai for a few days. If you been to Dubai, what is the thing I must do while there?

I've been to Dubai twice. I really love it there. The pools and beaches are surprisingly very nice and not crowded. I enjoyed going to the spa and going out to nice restaurants. It was actually pretty romantic.
The places I went to are Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifi, Dubai Fountains, Ski Dubai and Palm Island. Went to a few malls but can't remember the names. I wanted to do a desert safari but we didn't have enough time. Both times I went to Dubai it was a 2 day stopover and not the main part of our trip.

This is great thank you for responding. We are doing the same where Dubai isn't the main focus of our trip.

Dubai Marina is a newer area that we did not make it to. We were planning to go but I slept for like 16 hrs. We were in Singapore before Dubai and our sleep was all over the place. I would definitely add that to your list if you go to Dubai. I'm not a big gold person but the gold souks are also supposedly a must see.

Got engaged in Dubai last year. It's one of my fav places in the world. Dh and I agreed when we have kids, it's the perfect family destination.
Highly recommend dune bashing! We went to all the malls and took a quick trip to the old city to see all the gold (skip it) it was annoying more than anything people trying to get you to go in their shops. If you have time, go... But if you miss it you won't regret it. The Arabian tea house there is reallly pretty.
It was a relaxing trip. Beach and water parks during the day. Night time we did dune bashing, malls and burj khalifa (proposal)
We stayed at jumierah Mina a Salam. Nicest hotel!! You have views of burj al Arab from the beach. Free access to the waterpark. It was perfect
