How much snow?
Forecasts are all over the place, from a dusting to 5 inches. We have about an inch of snow right now, and there doesn't seem to be much more coming...

We have maybe an inch in Stony Brook. I heard more coming on Saturday but they seem to not know the snow accumulations for the weekend from what I've seen. I'm happy to see ANY white stuff at this point............it's about time!! 
ETA - It's still VERY lightly snowing here. Nothing that will add to the accumulations though.

Just heard on 1010 Wins on my way to work 6-8 in central Suffolk and higher out east. Higher totals possible due to snow drifts.

Of course we're getting 9 inches. I literally have no bread and less than a day's worth of milk. I think we'll survive but my 2yo may have us walking to the deli for milk.

By me the totals are 6-12. DH is running to the store for BBQ sauce and veggies since we likely won't be going out to eat later. Just praying I don't go into labor!!!! Hahaha my worse fear! At least we only live a few minutes from the hospital

We are right on the Nassau/Queens border- so 3-5 inches for us. But that is enough. DH is outside playing in it with the boys, I am inside with the girls. I just put tonight's dinner in the crock pot, and I will get lots of laundry done. But we like being out and about on the weekends, this day is going to feel soooo long. I HATE winter!!

Poor DH just ran to shop rite for BBQ sauce and veggies he said it's a mob scene. He wanted to get a few snacks for today I told him just get in and out. People taking carts, arguing. You would think we won't get out to get food for 6 months! Jeez!

They keep changing the snow total forecast and each news channel is different this morning
When is this snow ending? How late in the day is it going to go?

People are idiots. The roads will be clear tomorrow.
Every freaking time it snows a flake they act like the nuclear apocalypse is coming.

The app I use says we will get light snow tonight with another inch or more through midnight. We're in Suffolk but I imagine it will snow most of the day all over.

Yeah I had to drive back to LI from Queens and it was pretty terrible.....and I'm not one to overreact with snow.

Ugh we drove to and from CT today. Thankfully we're home now. We saw at least 7 accidents. Lots of skidding.
Finally got home and we couldn't drive up our driveway. We each took a kid and walked up where the grass should be. The driveway was way to slippery. So happy to be home and in pjs.
