Just witnessed both the best and worst of people at the supermarket.

I was wearing my three month old while doing my grocery shopping. The lovely woman behind me in line unloaded my cart for me because she saw it was a bit tough for me to bend into the cart with a sleeping baby on me. Not five minutes later, after I waited for the car next to me to pull out before starting to put DD in her seat, a woman in a huge SUV started yelling and cursing at me for taking too long (in her opinion) to put my baby in her car seat. What kind of person do you have to be to yell at a mother putting her baby in the car safely? It wasn't even that the lot was full - there were other spots. But no. She needed the one next to me and needed to yell at me about it because I wasn't going quickly enough for her. She attracted quite the crowd while I calmly told her I would take as long as I needed to make sure my baby was safe, and wishes her a happy holidays.

Her teen daughter was in the car with her, and flipped me off as I pulled out of my spot.

That was so nice of that woman to help you!

The other one and her spawn...yuck. Miserable jerks.

I'm on the subway and a woman just got off and forgot her laptop bag I didn't notice but a teenaged boy just started yelling "ma'am, ma'am!" so we all looked up...he was able to hold the doors from closing. She teared up and called him an angel and then of course some jackoff let out a big SIIIIGHHHHH because the doors were held for three extra seconds.

Just yesterday I was getting honked at while trying to give directions to a sweet old man who was lost in our neighborhood. Amazing how the best and worst come out this time of year!!!

It's great that she is teaching her daughter to be just a big a c u next Tuesday as she is.
And we wonder why there are so many assholes in the world....they are being brought up that way.

I was unloading my things and asked a lady passing if she needed the cart. She said she didn't but would take it back for me since she was headed that way. It's the little things :

I hate rude people. The holidays bring out the douchier side of otherwise douches. Even when it's not the holidays people have given me attitude for how long it takes me to strap dd in. I'm like the 60 seconds it takes me to snap my kid in safely is no reason to huff and puff. Find another damn spot.

You're a better person than me because I would have keyed her car while she was in the store. I would have lost my sh!t if she screamed at me like that while I'm with my baby. And it's a shame that she acted that way in front of her kid. It's just showing her that it's ok to treat people like that. Just terrible.
