Redness by vagina and butt

DD is 6 yrs old, and lately she's been getting red (reminds me of diaper rash but not raised) on her vagina and by her butt...all external. I'm not sure if it's a wiping issue or what. I have been either giving her a shower or cleaning her every day and it keeps happening.

I put aquafore on it at night and that seems to helpl. But I don't know what else it could be? Anyone have any thoughts?

i have very dry skin, and i get red spots sometimes when i am allergic to something in soaps or laundry detergent.

just a thought. i hope it clears up soon.

Is it bothering her? Is she feeling well besides the rash? Just asking because my friend always tells the story of her daughter getting strep throat and then it went down to her private areas. She was on antibiotics and everything. She said it was very painful for her daughter.

My 7yo gets this. It's from not wiping and urine sitting there. Maybe she is rushing at school, eager to play or get out of the bathroom. This is what my daughter does, does not take the time to wipe.

Also have her sleep without underwear and let it air out at night

DD gets this a lot.
Sometimes you can actually see white stuff- like yeast.

The Dr prescribed a cream some kind of Nizoral I think, but that sometimes burned more when I put it on. She was screaming and crying so bad once it had me in tears .


Now I just use A&D or Aquafor and make sure to always dry well after bathing and yes, she has to wipe thoroughly.
