OMG TMI
Someone please tell me this is normal! For the past few days I have felt like I have a bruise on my va jay jay and it hurts like hell. Today I decided to feel to see what could be the source of this awful pain and my whole area down there is swollen. I'm talking like allergic to a bee sting swollen- anyone ever experience this and what the hell do you do? Its actually painful- like my vagina is just too big for my body! It hurts when I walk and move!

My friend had varicose veins down their while pregnant. I think she got them more towards her third trimester but there was nothing she could do. She said it was super painful. Good news is that it all went away after delivery...

Omg I just googled this and I think that's it! I'm terrified to look- looks like it will be another romantic night for DH and I! Ahaha I'm 2 days shy of 24 weeks with twins so I guess it's not too soon?!

Oh yes. I once made the mistake of looking at it in a hand mirror and Good Lord it was frightening! Discolored and swollen. My vag looked like it belonged to an elephant.
I never made the mistake of looking at it again until WELL after I delivered and everything healed up.

I didn't realize you were 24 weeks already! So yea it's probably not too soon! Eek I hope the pain subsides for you. I remember her saying it was better staying off her feet. But she's a nurse and couldn't do much of that.

I have not experienced this yet (I am only 20 weeks), but i did just read Jenny McCarthy's pregnancy book... and she said they turned into 2 "blue twinkies"  so, yeah, apparently it's normal.
can't wait.

Ahahahahahahhahaha this is hilarious!!! I had DH check out this situation last night and let's just say there definitely won't be a 3rd baby in my future!!! Hahahah I am mortified to the point where I don't even wanna look and luckily for me I can even bend forward at this point! I'm terrified of what I will look like in the near future!!!

Omg YES!! just had this over the weekend, its like I was having rough SEX for hours kind of feeling LOL sorry only way I can describe it. 28w3d here. Did not feel this last with my DD.

Omg yes!! I had the same with DD. I dont remember how many weeks I Was when it started, but It was so bad that at one point I sat with an ice cold can of beer between my legs to try and reduce swelling! I am almost 22 weeks with DS and I am hoping I don't get that again!

Um. I looked..... I had to know.... My life will never be the same.... Ever.... I don't even know how to describe it?
And I can't even have a glass of wine to wallow about this situation. Instead I baked a cake.... And ate 1/4 of it...with a bag of frozen cherries between my legs.
I don't know how to feel... Traumatized? Confused? Wondering if my body will ever look normal again?! There better be some sort of procedure to fix this if it doesn't return to normal!!!
