PIZZA, PIZZA!!
the marine will be home this weekend.
he has specifically asked that his dear, old mother make him pizza, and clam chowder, and rice and beans, and vaca frita, and and and...
i've decided that i'll make pizza, but i'd like to change it up a bit.
we usually do:
* cheese
* pepperoni
* hawaiian
* veggie
* bbq chicken
(i make a lot of smaller pies so we all can try different toppings)
what are some of your favorite pizza toppings?

Pesto and fresh mozzarella
Burrata cheese (similar to mozzarella but more flavorful and soft) with arugula and tomatoes
Truffle with fresh mozzarella - OMG!!!

I'm a purist when it comes to pizza.
I only like plain or the typical toppings like meatball, sausage, mushroom etc.
I do like pepper and onions too
And a good grandma or margarita pie
But I don't like anything like pineapple, ham, seafood or pasta on my pizza etc
To me when you start putting stuff on that isn't based on red sauce and mozzarella cheese, it's no longer pizza, kwim?
Like it's a salad on a crust or clams on a crust, or whatever
